Loose Nails

About Loose Nails

Loose Nails is two people testing press-on nails for real. We glue the sets on, wear them through everyday life, and write down how long they hold. No titles, just a hundred sets of experience.

We only recommend sets we've glued on ourselves. If a set held for a short time, we say so. The experience comes from testing and comparing many sets, not from a title.

Most nail sites want to sell you a set. We time it instead. Two voices: Thea on design and trends, Ingrid on technique and hold.

Who tests and writes

There are two of us sharing the sets. We do not review everything — we wear it, then tell you what actually held up.

Thea Haugen

The personal design friend

Thea treats press-on as a lovely complement to your own nails, not a replacement — ombre, chrome, cat eye, babyboomer. She writes personally about how a set suits the hand, never about the hype.

Ingrid Vik

The nail-health & wear friend

Ingrid cares that the nail stays healthy under the set: how long it lasts, how gently it comes off, and how the natural nail stays well between sets. Calm, concrete, no hard sell.
